Ben Lahring.

Ben Lahring (b. 1986) is a Canadian composer and guitarist whose formative years in tropical northern Australia led to a globe-spanning career, from a year-long solo performance residency in Sydney to several years in the New York City guitar scene. His album Driftwood was praised as "one of the most singularly beautiful guitar recitals" (Fanfare Magazine), and his playing has drawn admiration from artists including Liona Boyd and William Beauvais. An Associate Composer of the Canadian Music Centre and a member of the Canadian League of Composers, he completed graduate studies in classical guitar performance at the University of Calgary, teaches at Ambrose University, examines for the Royal Conservatory of Music and is the founder of MusiCurate.
