Hacia Lo Ignoto was inspired by the poem of the same name by Cuban poet Dulce María Borrero. The poem likens the poet's heart to a dying bird watching white doves — symbols of dreams and freedom — pass through the sky. The heart yearns to follow but remains trapped, unable to escape. This composition seeks to capture that yearning. It is dedicated to Iliana Matos.
