Waltz

A waltz is a type of dance in triple meter, typically 3/4 time, known for its elegant movements and flowing rhythm. It originated in Europe in the late 18th century and became popular in the 19th century.

Dionisio Aguado y Garcia (1784 - 1849) was a celebrated Spanish guitarist and composer of the European late Classical and early Romantic periods. He was born in Madrid and is renowned for his significant contributions to guitar technique and pedagogy. His many works include the 1843 guitar method, Nuevo Método para Guitarra, which contains this waltz.
