"Ma mère l'Oye" is a five-movement suite by Maurice Ravel inspired by French fairy tales from Charles Perrault. Originally composed for piano four-hands, and transcribed for orchestra by Ravel himself, it features delicate melodies, playful rhythms, and Impressionistic touches, capturing the magic and wonder of childhood stories. This transcription is based on both sources, using the color palette of three guitars to create fairy textures. This transcription was dedicated to Lumen trio.
