William Beauvais.
William Beauvais combines a mastery of the guitar with a devotion to composition; he has written for many notable performers, including the Montreal Guitar Trio and Jeffrey McFadden, and his music is played around the world. A first prize winner at the Canadian Music Competition and the World Centre for Guitar in Martinique, he has taught at the University of Windsor, Queen's University and York University, served on the Royal Conservatory of Music faculty from 1980 to 2010, and is an Associate Composer of the Canadian Music Centre.
