Organization Annual Access Agreement

Version org-direct-2026-10-14-v5. This agreement applies to one-time purchases of a MusiCurate organization annual package, paid pilot, or midterm learner seats through the MusiCurate website. The purchaser confirms that they are an adult administrator authorized to purchase for the named organization and to accept this agreement on its behalf.

Package and access

The offer selected at checkout states its CAD price, learner seat limit, and included staff allowance. Annual packages start at 10 learner seats and may be expanded up to 500 by purchasing additional learner seats. Staff access equals one staff place for every five learner seats, rounded up. Printed scores and the separate Studio Licence are not included. The organization may assign and reassign its learner seats within its active limit. A sponsored learner does not become the billing owner. Access is delivered through the organization's MusiCurate account after payment is verified and the organization subscription and seats are activated.

Fixed term and renewal

An annual package provides twelve months of access beginning when verified payment successfully activates the organization's subscription and seats. A later annual purchase for the same organization extends an active paid annual term by twelve months from its existing end date. The paid pilot provides 30 days of access for 10 learners and 2 staff from successful activation. Midterm learner seats end when the current annual term ends; buying them does not restart or extend that term. None of these purchases renew automatically. We will not charge a new term without a new purchase.

Paid pilot and annual credit

The paid pilot costs CAD $199.99 plus applicable tax. Each organization may purchase one pilot. If that same organization buys an annual package during the pilot or within 30 days after it ends, we credit the full CAD $199.99 pre-tax pilot price once against the annual package's pre-tax price. The credit has no cash value, is not transferable to another organization, and cannot be used twice. Applicable tax on the annual purchase is calculated on the credited transaction as required by law. The annual term begins when the annual payment is verified and its access is successfully activated. If purchased after the pilot has ended, access may be interrupted until that activation.

Flexible learner seats and midterm pricing

The annual CAD totals for 10, 25, 50, 100, and 250 learners remain $1,199.99, $2,499.99, $4,499.99, $7,999.99, and $17,499.99 respectively, plus applicable tax. For an intermediate learner count, we interpolate the total annual price in a straight line between its adjacent listed tiers, then round that total to cents. Above 250 learners, the 100-to-250 rate continues through 500 learners; larger organizations require a separate quote. Midterm additions cost the difference between the new and existing annual totals, prorated by the time remaining from purchase to the original term end over the full original term, rounded to cents. Staff allowance rises with the active learner count at one staff place per five learners, rounded up. A midterm addition does not remove existing access or cause automatic renewal.

Delivery and refunds

If payment is taken but the purchased access cannot be activated, contact music@musicurate.com so we can correct the delivery or provide an appropriate refund. Once access has been activated, unused seats or a decision to stop using them do not create a convenience refund. Refunds, reversals, and cancellation of a paid order may end access. Nothing in this agreement limits remedies or refund rights required by applicable law.

Administrators and learners

The organization administrator manages seat assignments and must use accurate account and organization information. Basic account access remains available when a learner has not supplied age information. The learner may add a self-declared birth year in account settings; MusiCurate does not routinely ask administrators or learners for age documents or manually verify birth years. Until age information is supplied, the learner receives the more protective age settings. A learner under 13, or a school-managed learner whose age is unknown, may use school-sponsored educational features after an adult school administrator records explicit authorization for that named learner through the self-service in-app flow under the Managed Learner Child-Data Notice. A learner under 13 may also use that educational access with separately verified guardian authorization. The authorization is limited to the named learner, school organization, and educational scope, expires no later than one year or the end of the paid organization term, and may be revoked. A still-valid authorization can be reused for class or seat changes. This educational authorization does not enable social features or direct messaging. An organization purchase, school label, administrator role, pending request, or parent account link alone does not authorize protected educational access.

The MusiCurate App Terms of Service and App Privacy Policy govern use of the app and personal information. This agreement controls where its organization purchase, term, and renewal terms differ from consumer app-store subscription terms.
